The 2023 GDP of Jinshui District is expected to exceed 200 billion yuan, made up of more than 300,000 business entities. All together, the innovation economy, service economy, and real economy are driving the emergence of a modern urban economic system.

The added value of core industries related to the digital economy has increased by more than 10% for two consecutive years, and the digital economy accounts for more than 42% of GDP, contributing 46.5% to economic growth. Aware of the strong effect of the digital economy on economic development, Jinshui District has focused on its development. It has promoted the implementation of digital transformation strategies, helped with the efficient cycling of resources and elements, and accelerated the integration of business entities, continuously expanding the development space.

In the eight years since its opening, the park has been driven by the intellectual property economy and has put effort into the development of industrial design, cultural creativity, intellectual property services, and software R&D. It has become a hub for creative design services, intellectual property output, and cutting-edge technology R&D talent in Henan Province.
開園8年來，創意園區以發展知識產權經濟為引領，重點發展工業設計、文化創意、知識產權服務、軟件研發四大產業，已成為河南省創意設計服務、知識產權產出、前沿技術研發人才的密集高地。
Institutional innovation has become more fundamental, systematic and effective. Jinshui District has kept improving itself to better develop the two national pilot zones - the free trade zone and the intellectual property creative park, optimizing both institutions to promote systematic innovation in Zhengzhou.
制度創新是更基礎、更系統、更有效的創新，金水區透過自貿區和知識產權創意園這兩塊國家級「試驗田」，最佳化制度供給，持續推動全域創新。
Over the past three years, the number of technology enterprises in Jinshui District has increased from 22,000 to 48,000; the number of technology-oriented enterprises has increased from less than 1,000 to 2,602; and the number of high-tech enterprises has increased from 347 to 1,000, accounting for 1/10 of Henan's total. In May 2023, Jinshui District was commended by the State Council for remarkable results in implementing innovation and entrepreneurship policies and promoting employment and innovation.
3年時間，金水區科技類企業從2.2萬家增加到4.8萬家，科技型企業由不足1000家增加到2602家，高新技術企業由347家突破至1000家，占全省的1/10。2023年5月，因「推動創新創業政策落地、促進就業、加強創新等方面成效明顯」，金水區受到國務院激勵表揚。
