Special Issue on Hybrid-AI Cartography
【测绘学报(英文版)】混合智能地图制图专刊
🔷 Ba ckground | 背景
Recently, AI technology has revolutionized various fields, and has also found wide applications in cartography and related fields. However, due to the lack of explainability and transparency and the limited capacity of spatial understanding by AI tools, the fusion of human natural intelligence (e.g., geographical theories, cartographic rules, and map knowledge) with AI to achieve hybrid computation is still an appropriate solution at current stage to ensuring accurate, efficient, reliable, and user-friendly map generation, application, and services. Therefore, the Journal of Geodesy and Geoinformation Science (JGGS) plans to publish a special issue to collect high-quality research results on the theories, methods, and algorithms of Hybrid-AI Cartography.
近年来,AI技术在各个领域掀起了革命,也在制图及相关领域得到了广泛应用。然而,由于AI工具缺乏可解释性和透明性,并且在空间理解方面能力有限,将人类自然智能(例如地理理论、制图规则、地图知识)与AI融合的混合智能,仍然是当前阶段保证地图生成、应用和服务的准确性、高效性、可靠性和用户友好性的适宜解决方式。【测绘学报(英文版)】(JGGS) 拟出版「混合智能地图制图专刊」,旨在收集关于混合智能制图的理论、方法和算法的高质量研究成果。

博士,西南交通大学地球科学与工程学院副教授、博士生导师。主要从事地图表达理论与方法、示意地图可视化、地图智能化服务等方面的研究。获得中国 测绘科学技术奖一等奖,发表学术论文 30 余篇。担任 中国测绘学会智能化测绘工作委员会委员、四川省测绘地理信息学会专家、【测绘学报(英文版)】助理主编、【时空信息学报】编委、【 ISPRS International Journal of Geo-Information 】专题编委等学术职务。
TI Peng
Ph.D., Associate Professor, and Doctoral Supervisor at the School of Earth Sciences and Engineering, Southwest Jiaotong University. His primary research focuses on the theories and methods of map representation, schematic map visualization, and intelligent map services. He is a member of the Intelligent Surveying and Mapping Working Committee of the Chinese Society for Geodesy, Photogrammetry, and Cartography, and an expert in the Sichuan Society for Surveying and Mapping. He got first prize of Science and Technique awards from Chinese Society for Geodesy Photogrammetry and Cartography and has published more than 30 papers on the journals. He also serves as an Assistant Editor for the Journal of Geodesy and Geoinformation Science, an Editorial Board Member of the Journal of Spatio-Temporal Information Science, and a Topical Advisory Panel Member for the ISPRS International Journal of Geo-Information.
禹文豪
中国地质大学(武汉)地理与信息工程学院 教授、博士生导师。主要从事时空数据挖掘、地图综合以及大模型等方面的研究。 中国测绘学会智能化测绘工作委员会委员。 入选湖北省人才计划、斯坦福全球前 2% 顶尖科学家榜单( 2022-2023 ),获湖北省优秀博士学位论文、测绘科技进步二等奖、地理信息科技进步一等奖。在 IJGIS 、 ISPRS P&RS 、 PR 、 测绘学报等 权威 期刊发表论文 60 余篇。
Professor, and Doctoral Supervisor at the School of Geography and Information Engineering, China University of Geosciences, Wuhan . His primary research focuses on the spatio-temporal data mining , map generalization , and large language model . He is a member of the Intelligent Surveying and Mapping Working Committee of the Chinese Society for Geodesy, Photogrammetry, and Cartography. He was awarded the s cholar program from Hubei province, and World's Top 2% Scientists (2022-2023). He also got Excellent Doctoral Dissertation of Hubei Province and several prizes of Science and Technique awards from Chinese s urveying and m apping s ociet ies. He has published more than 60 papers on the journals such as IJGIS , ISPRS P&RS and PR.
蓝天
西南交通大学地球科学与工程学院助理教授、硕士生导师。主要从事智能化地图制图、地理空间复杂性等方面的研究。 中国测绘学会智能化测绘工作委员会委员, 入选第一批博士后海外引才专项, 在 IJGIS 、 AAAG 、 TGIS 、测绘学报等期刊发表论文近 30 篇。
Assistant professor, and master supervisor at the Faculty of Geosciences and Engineering, Southwest Jiaotong University. His primary research focuses on the hybrid-AI cartography and geospatial complexity. He is a member of the Intelligent Surveying and Mapping Working Committee of the Chinese Society for Geodesy, Photogrammetry, and Cartography. In addition, he has been selected as the first batch of postdoctoral overseas talent recruitment special project. He has published nearly 30 articles on the academic journals such as IJGIS, AAAG and TGIS.
王珏
博士,加拿大多伦多大学地理系助理教授、博士生导师。健康地理学家和地理信息科学家。他的主要研究领域包括地理信息科学、健康地理学、社会与行为地理学、大数据和空间分析等。
Jue Wang
Ph.D, Assistant Professor, Department of Geography and Planning, University of Toronto. He is a health geographer and geographic information scientist, specializing in Geographic Information Science, Health Geography, Social and Behavioral Geography, Big Data, and Spatial Analysis.

龚健雅(1957-),男,摄影测量与遥感学家。2011年当选中国科学院院士,现任武汉大学遥感信息工程学院和测绘遥感信息工程国家重点实验室教授、博士生导师,宇航科学与技术研究院院长。国家杰出青年基金获得者、973项目首席科学家、国家自然科学基金创新群体学术带头人、国家测绘局科技领军人才、国务院第六、七届学科评议组测绘学科组召集人,曾任国际摄影测量与遥感学会第六委员会主席,中国海外地理信息科学学会会长,现任亚洲地理信息系统协会秘书长,【测绘学报】副主编,【Journal of Geodesy and Geoinformation Science】主编。先后承担了国家和省部级科研项目40多项。获国家科技进步创新团队奖1项、国家科技进步一等奖1项、二等奖4项、省部级特等奖3项,一等奖7项、国际摄影测量与遥感学会(ISPRS)Dolezal成就奖1项。出版专著和教材13部,发表论文500多篇,其中SCI论文100多篇,论著他引共20000多次。指导硕士研究生120多名,博士研究生70多名。
