In May 2023, Jinshui District was commended by the State Council for remarkable results in implementing innovation and entrepreneurship policies and promoting employment and innovation.
3年时间，金水区科技类企业从2.2万家增加到4.8万家，科技型企业由不足1000家增加到2602家，高新技术企业由347家突破至1000家，占全省的1/10。2023年5月，因「推动创新创业政策落地、促进就业、加强创新等方面成效明显」，金水区受到国务院激励表扬。
